Seeking Socrates, Plato, The Buddha, Aristotle, Descartes

I’ve been bored as hell, so I thought I’d make a list of insightful questions I’m looking for answers for. Please take a moment to answers my questions if you can . . .

Not to take the song title from Creed, but
What is this life for?

Do we really exist?
Or like it is in mathematics, is ‘I’ really imaginary?

Oh yeah, this is a big one,
Does God really exist?

I feel blessed to be able to see, feel and experience the world around me. I know that some are not as lucky as me, so am curious . . .
What would the dreams of blind people be like?

This is one question that has always been on my mind . . .
What is the definition of good and bad?

At the risk of sounding really bitter for having been wronged . . .
Does justice really prevail in the end? Or is “a perfect circle” just a myth?

  • The problem with these questions is that any answer will lead to more questions...

I'm not a big fan of Paulo Coelho but some of his stories and his interpretations might find you some answers.

  • Seashells,
Yes, that is true. I like Paulo C too . . . My sister-in-law gifted me his book titled The Alchemist. Being a metallurgist myself, I found the book very interesting.

    Da Bhatta,
You have some good answers there - and besides, who doesn't like a little light humor, eh? I wanted to add one more question to the list - it is sort of a personal question " When I die,who will cry for me?" Also, have changed the song due to popular demand :)

  • Do u have any answer for this question?
    Does a fish catch cold?
If not why not? It stays in water all the time, and it takes me 2 mins with water to catch one, now tell me is there justice in life?

I thought you like questions so dropped in one of my own too. I hope you like more questions.. Else don't bother because I am not sure this comment exists.

Life can be for many things what do you want yours for? If you don't want it still live it because there must be atleast one who wants yours. Atleast give them the satisfaction of killing you ;)

I don't know if God really exists. But it makes my existence easier by thinking God does. And I like it that way.

I don't know what a blind person's dream looks like but I am sure they are just like ours full of fun and happiness.

Good is good and bad is bad.period.
Now u can decide what is good and what is bad :)

Just like good and bad, justice what is it?? Is punishing you for mistakes, anger and a few moments of loss of control justice?? Where's the punishment for the person who kills you in bits by say smoking... Where's the appreciation for a person who pushes you off the building when you don't want to live anymore and are scared to jump off??(Else you wud not hv been with that person in the first place wud you??) :)

  • an answer of "No" to question #2, "do we really exist?" invalidates the rest of the questions ... shouldn't it be #1 ?
