Unfaithful*

Her hair tangled up
Her skin tender
A wild night of passion
Forbidden love propagates

He gives her his everything
Oh, he loves her dearly
Yes, she loves him back
And some other men too

She looks in the mirror
“Unfaithful” it screams
She cannot help herself
Polyamory is her life’s theme

*inspired by Rihanna's latest hit - Unfaithful

  • hey Chérie, Rihanna stole your poem and made a song out of it !!!! i just saw the video on VH-1 !! you should sue her a** off for plagiarism :)

  • They even made a movie out of it - starring Sharon Stone!

  • Nice! And dark!

I didn't really like that Rihanna song.

    @ Superman
Unfaithful had Richard Gere and Diane Lane...not Sharon Stone. Maybe you got confused with Diabolique?

  • Second wind,
Thanks. Did this post also remind you of Rihanna's song?

    Fosix,
Do you really find similarity between my verse and Rihanna’s song?? Although, I agree I was inspired by it somewhat. Other than the main premise and title of the poem I felt nothing matched with Rihanna’s song. I guess I better quote her!

    S****man,
The movie also inspired me – maybe a little more than Rihanna’s song. And you know how much I like the hindi remake of that movie :) Specifically, I was inspired by the poem Oliver Martinez reads to Diane Lane when she visits him first. I found out that it’s one of the stanzas of Persian Love by Omar Khayyam. It goes like this,
"...Drink wine. It’s what remains of the harvest of youth – the season of roses and wine and drunken friends. Be happy for a moment, that moment's your life..."

    TF,
    Dark? Thanks!

  • What's the deal with S****man???
    It's a joke?? It's a cuz word?? It's not my name!

  • whoa... dont be giving her credit for the poem... as you said, only the name and the premise made me think of the song... so chill and remove the credit... its not needed...
